Position: Group Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers and Wellness Center Floor Staff

Position: Bus Driver (Club Kid, Before and After School Program)
Location: The Center For Youth Programs (Middletown, NY)

The YMCA of Middletown is looking for an experienced part time bus driver for our Club Kid, Before and After School Program.  Hours required are 7:30AM- 9:00AM and 2:00PM – 4:00PM.  Driver must possess a Commercial driver's license with passenger and school bus endorsements, a DOT physical exam and a clean background check.  Someone with a clean driver’s license and experience working with child.  This is a 10 month position with the possibility to work over the summer.  Also, if looking for more hours, we have a custodian position available as well.


Responsibilities Include:
  • Conducting Pre and Post Trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Morning Run leaves our Liberty Street Club Kid location and drop off student passengers at various Middletown Schools between the hours of 7:30 AM- 9:00AM. *May vary with school delays
  • Afternoon Run picks up student passengers at various Middletown Schools and drops off at our Liberty Street location between the hours of 2:00PM- 4:00PM.  *Must be flexible to accommodate half days.
  • Ensure the safety of each participant
  • Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance 
  • Maintain transportation records
  • Attend and participate in any required meetings and/or trainings.
  • Possibility of driving for an occasional field trip or other activity.
  • Ability to adhere to all company safety standards and operating procedures.

Position: Club Kid Counselor / Site Director (Before & After School Program)

The YMCA is looking for part time Club Kid Counselors for the 2018/2019 school year. Counselors must be over 18 and have experience working with children. Interest in sports, art, drama, crafts and/or group games is a plus. This position is perfect for elementary or early childhood education majors. No weekends or holidays required but there is opportunity for year round employment through our School's Out Vacation Camps and Summer Day Camps.

The YMCA is looking for friendly, outgoing Member Service Representatives to work at our Welcome Centers. Primary duties Include providing excellent service to members and guests, promoting YMCA Membership and Programs, maintaining access control during member and guest check-in, answering member phone calls, in-person transactions, providing member tours and other clerical duties.

Hours needed: 
Weekdays, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm (shifts/days vary)
Sundays, shifts vary
Flexibility to work additional hours/shifts is required.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • 2 years or more of Clerical/Customer Service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual a plus
